OPAL House

OPAL House is an idyllic country estate with sprawling perennial borders set in front of the Litchfield Hills. It includes a summer pool garden with masses of seasonal alliums fronted by azure lace cap, mop head, and late blooming pannical hydrangeas all complimented by unique architectural elements from the client’s personal collection.

“Dave’s knowledge of plant materials, his enthusiasm and exceptionally hard work, and his innate feel for design and color, have created a garden that has been featured in Conservancy Garden tours, and that is of immeasurable pleasure to us as its owners.  We continue our partnership and look forward to new initiatives every season.”
